Community Service Program and Volunter Opportunities

The main goal of NSI volunteer and community programs is to give back to our community.

Our community service is design to fit the necessities and aims of every particular group. Our participants can chose from a variety of projects that involve their skills and knowledge. Such as: tech English or sports in low income schools, paint rural schools, plants trees in the tropical forest, recycling, working with kids with special needs and many more.

Volunteer Programs

Teacher assistant: assisting a regular teacher in a local school, and doing cultural and environmental presentations in Spanish.
Social assistance: participating in fun activities with orphans at the home “Hogarcito de San Ramon” or with senior citizens at the home “Hogar de Ancianos”.
Environmental activities: beach cleaning in Puntarenas, reforestation, fruit harvesting, and fauna aid.

The Natural Spanish Institute has established agreements with several volunteer organizations. You can obtain additional information about volunteer opportunities in our offices.
