Costa Rica was an absolutely amazing experience! You truly challenge yourself by staying with host families, and solely speaking Spanish for two weeks. However, the families are extremely helpful, and go out of their way to make you comfortable, so I never felt homesick. I found the community to be welcoming, so it was easy to immerse yourself in the culture. Also the activities you do outside the house are incredible, taking a canopy tour in the jungle, going on the hanging bridges, and experiencing the nightlife are all highlights! Just go on the trip and experience it for yourself, I really cannot explain how amazing it was in words!
