We plan our tours and guided visits according to the needs and wishes of our groups.
In addition, we offer guided visits as part of our package to sites of interest such as el Trapiche (sugar mill), el Beneficio de Café (coffee processing plant), Cloud Forest with the choice of doing a Canopy Tour and the museum.These visits will contribute to your knowledge of the Costa Rican culture.

Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs
Full-day excursion - Arenal Volano and Hot Springs
2 day tour – Arenal Volcano and Hot Springs
We visit the most active volcano in the country and experience its fumaroles and lava eruptions up close. We then visit the lovely Lake Arenal, and tour the surrounding forest and ravines on a series of hanging bridges. Finally we relax and enjoy views of the volcano from magnificent thermal hot springs nearby.

Monteverde
One day excursion
This trip includes a visit to the quaint town of Monteverde hike in the the renound Monteverde cloud forest reserve, and then a visit to Monteverde Butterfly House, where we experience the beauty and diversity of Costa Rican butterflies up close . At the end of the day, get adrenaline rushes touring the forest canopy on hanging bridges. |

Cultural day in San José and Sarchí
1 day excursion
We will take a walk through the streets of the capital city to visit the most well-known sites: the National Theater, the Plaza of Culture, the Melico Salazar Theater, the Plaza of Democracy, and the handcrafts market – a great place to shop! We will then reach the Gold Museum, which contains beautiful figurines carved by indigenous Costa Ricans. We will visit the town of Sarchí, where we can watch the making of traditional wooden wagons and handcrafts. We will end the day with a visit to the monumental Greek Church, which is one of only 5 churches in the world made completely out of metal. |

Manuel Antonio National Park
1 day excursion
Nature abounds in this protected area – we will have good chances of seeing monkeys, scarlet macaws and sloths as we make our way towards through the forest. We then arrive at a spectacular white sand beach with crystalline waters, where can spend a few hours tanning, swimming in the warm waters of the Pacific and relaxing under the sun. Manuel Antonio promises hours of coexistence with nature in a beach paradise setting. |

Poás Volcano and La Paz Park
1 day excursion
We will start the day with a visit to Poás Volcano. This is one of the largest craters in the world, and a landscape like no other! Next we will visit Parque la Paz in nearby Vara Blanca. We will view orchid, butterfly, snake and hummingbird exhibits and enjoy the magnificence of five cascading waterfalls along more than 2 miles of trails. |

Weekend at Tortuguero
2 day tour
This two day (one night) excursion to Limon province begins with an aerial tour on the Braulio Carrillo cable railway, where we will comfortably observe the lush Caribbean rain forest. We will then travel by motorboat through mangrove-lined canals to spectacular Turtuguero National Park.
In Tortuguero we will visit the fascinating turtle museum, and take leisurely hikes through the park. Between July and September, we may be lucky enough to watch green or leatherback (baula) turtles emerge from the sea to lay their eggs on the pristine sandy beaches found there. This is a priceless event that can only be experienced in Costa Rica.

Waterfall and eco-park
Half a day
NSI supports rural turism in Costa Rica. We visit the beautiful waterfall, go hiking, do bird watching in the mountains or horse back ridding trough the park and then have a swim in the poll. |

- “La Entrada de los Santos” and “El desfile de carretas” (The Parade of the Saints and the Parade of the Ox Carts): Come with us to enjoy this city-wide party featuring parades, music and food celebrating local saints and local culture. August.

“El Festival da la Luz” (Festival of Light). San José. This spectacular display of lights and float parade celebrating Christmas is like nothing else! December.
